Paralegals are the foundation of a well-built law firm. These programs are accredited and those that require at least ten semester credits in a traditional classroom are approved by the American Bar Association.
Many paralegal programs, including those offered online, require an internship-training program. Internships are valuable for students to gain hands-on experience by working for weeks or months in a private legal firm or public defender office.
